Cannes Lions: An Update

This past week, Charlie and Christine have been in Cannes during the International Festival of Creativity. Inbetween meetings, award ceremonies and the odd spot of sunbathing, they've been sending photos and updates to us folks back in London. jelly wunderman what to wear (above) Charlie was snapped by the Wunderman team for a post on their top fashion picks. "Conference room to beach to cocktail party in one outfit. F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S." Giorgos's Cannes do attitude (above) Charlie also received 30 secs on camera with Shots Cannes Ambassador, Giorgos Mavromichalis at the Shots Party. Catch her between 1:50 – 2:20! Sadly our spot for Audi Imagination wasn't short listed for a Film Craft Lions, however, we spotted a few surprise awards to campaigns that some of our other artists were involved in! greenpeace gold press lions (above) Last year, illustrator Matt Johnstone worked with Leo Burnett, Hong Kong, to produce campaign posters for Greenpeace's Car Free Day. The campaign walked away with 3 Lions: Gold Press Lions in Newspaper and Magazine/Fundraising & Appeals category, Silver Press Lions in Newspaper and Magazine/Illustration category, and a Bronze Outdoor Lions in Billboards & Street Furniture/Fundraising & Appeals category. Well done, Matt!! going red gold design lions (above) Earlier this year, the Richard House Charity's Go Red! project finally went live online. They asked our artists Caroline Tomlinson, Neil Duerden and Steve Scott to lend their fantastic art skills to help a good cause. The site won a much deserved Gold Design Lions in Graphic Design & Design Crafts/Illustration category. The Partners got in touch with us last week to say: "We're very chuffed and hope you are too. A massive thank you to you, for your time and effort, it's much appreciated." A huge congratulations goes out to, not only to our artists, but to all our clients and friends in advertising who were shortlisted and walked away with Lions this year!
