Alex Tait crafts illustrated Underground Roundel

Mon 11 Jul 2016

Alex Tait has been dabbling in the skilful world of woodwork. We asked him to combine his new found craftsmanship with his illustrations to create a unique, hand painted Underground Roundel.

We gifted the bespoke Roundel to VCCP to celebrate their win of the Transport for London account.

It was aptly timed too, as TfL & London Transport Museum released posters across tube stations celebrating 100 years of the iconic Roundel, showcasing designs from 1905 to the present day. They also published the history of the Roundel on their website here.
