This week we are exploring the world of 2D and 3D character creation. Jelly London are experts in the field of character development and creation. We find character development an incredibly exciting part of any creative process, as it provides us with the opportunity to transform a simple sketch into a unique personality. We all know that characters can make a story or brand message more engaging and that animation is more versatile and less limiting than live action production. We have even created a sparkly new 2D and 3D charcter reels for you to peruse. Here’s a round-up of the variety of character styles on offer. First up our 3D maestro directors, Plenty have created these extraordinary characters in 3D to achieve a claymation effect for TV Channel; Nick’s latest series of idents which are bouncing around on a screen near you. On a more sombre note, Rumpus have used 2d characters to describe the sensitive issues around healthcare in a serene manner for McCann Health. Karen Cheung, creator of humorous yet lovable cartoons, helped to make educational science more accessible for our client, Oxford Sparks. Hand drawn characters are also adorable, just take a peek at the 2D characters our house team have crafted using stop motion techniques, for the launch of an awesome new music library called Synctracks.
