Our house illustration department recently worked alongside mobile phone company, O2 on their latest social campaign to celebrate postcard art!
The campaign, backed by actress and model Kelly Brook, aimed to bring postcard art "back from the edge" after research showed that holidaymakers from the UK were falling out of love with the traditional handwritten mode of communication.
Initially, our illustrators transformed a photograph of Kelly Brook relaxing on the beach into a 1950s style postcard. This was opened to ten holidaymakers who sent their photos to O2 by email or using their twitter hashtag #o2postcards. Here's a few that have gone live so far:
