Marylou Faure x Kiehl’s Holiday

Project by Marylou Faure

For over a decade, Kiehl’s has championed the creative community with annual holiday campaigns created in partnership with artists from around the world.

This year, Kiehl’s is celebrating its 170th holiday season with an extended collection of the brand’s most beloved skincare products, encased in Marylou Faure’s whimsical, limited-edition illustrations. As the birthplace of Kiehl’s, Marylou captures the unmatched energy of New York City and turns the iconic East Village neighborhood into a magical dreamland filled with diverse, and unique characters sharing in holiday festivities.

The Kiehl’s Holiday 2021 by Marylou Faure collection has been in the making for over a year, all starting with an initial treatment and followed up by a close working relationship with the Kiehl’s inhouse brand and creative team based in NY. We are thrilled to be able to finally share this global, festive collaboration.

Kiehl’s has long partnered with some of the world’s most prominent and well-known artists such as Jeff Koons, Mickey, KAWS, Kenny Scharf, Peter Max, Jeremyville, Studio Moross and Janine Rewell. In 2021, the tradition continues with Jelly’s Marylou Faure, whose previous clients include Nike, Apple, and Google. Marylou’s commitment to social and ethical causes made her a perfect collaborator for Kiehl’s Holiday 2021, as Kiehl’s remains committed to its Future Made Better initiatives with a focus on creating more sustainable packaging.

“To capture the magic of our Kiehl’s Dreamland, we wanted an artist who could express the joyful spirit of the holidays in an upbeat and creative way. Marylou Faure’s bold colors and diverse characters brought the world of Kiehl’s to life with a unique and playful spirit.”

Kiehl’s Global Head of Creative, Maria Gustafson.
