Truly Flavour Drop

Limited edition collection of flavour-inspired packaging.

Truly Hard Seltzer – a refreshing alternative to other alcoholic drinks – wanted to branch out to a new audience. Specifically, the creative class, downtown cool kids, and sneakerheads.

To celebrate the crisper, fresh taste of TRULY, Truly partnered with twelve artists from around the world – including Jelly’s, Alva Skog and James Dawe – to each create a custom piece inspired by their twelve revamped flavours.

The brief – set by 360i agency – asked the artists to create artwork that would work across a box containing a six pack of a single Truly flavour as well as posters and social content.

The artists were to take inspiration by the flavour cues of the can and use a colour pallet that lived in the world of the flavour. Artists were not restricted from using colours outside the man colour way of the can, as long as there was ultimately a strong connection between the colour and flavour of the finished piece.

Artists were also asked to take inspiration from sneaker drop culture with a tone that was current, cool, colourful and fresh. Both our artists rose to the challenge with bright and refreshing illustrations from James Dawe’s exotic Blueberry & Acai to Alva’s crisp and juicy mango.
